Can we change or add to the menu?
Absolutely! Our chef is more than happy to create a customized menu for your wedding. Prices adjusted accordingly.
Are there gluten-free options?
Yes, we offer a gluten-free options. Please let us know beforehand of any dietary restrictions or allergies.
Can we bring our own alcohol?
Outside alcohol is not permitted. The Wedding Foundry is fully licensed to provide alcohol service, so all beer, wine, spirits, and specialty cocktails must be provided and served through us. This allows us to keep bar service safe, seamless, and fully compliant throughout your celebration.
What does the cake look like?
Our standard offering is a one-tier white cake primarily used as a decorative piece for the cake-cutting ceremony. However, if you have a specific vision in mind, feel free to bring in your own cake.
What is included in the dessert?
Dessert options typically include cookies, mini pies, or doughnuts, depending on the season.
Can we have music at our wedding?
Absolutely! Music is such an important part of creating the atmosphere and flow of the day, and every Wedding Foundry celebration has a dedicated music plan.
Because our weddings are intentionally intimate, we don’t allow traditional DJs or loud amplified setups. Instead, couples can choose from our curated music options, including a Music Host to manage your playlists and important cues, or one of our live acoustic music experiences.
You’re also welcome to hire your own live acoustic musician or ensemble, as long as they are approved by The Wedding Foundry in advance and follow our sound guidelines.
All music must end by 10:00 PM. After that, you’re welcome to keep the party going with a silent disco!
What is a Silent Disco?
It’s a dance party where people dance to music played through wireless headphones instead of speakers. It’s super fun! And at a celebration this small, where it’s likely that a lot of people won’t dance, this is a great alternative.
Can we choose the floral decor and color palette?
Our in-house floral designer creates your floral decor using sustainable, seasonal blooms from our farm and local growers, with a beautiful palette inspired by what’s blooming that week. Trust us—it will be stunning!
For couples with a specific vision, our Custom Floral Palette upgrade—available to one wedding per weekend—allows you to choose your color palette and request specific blooms, based on seasonal availability and what we’re able to source.
You can also select your table runners and china to complement your wedding style.
How does photography work?
All weddings are beautifully photographed by Clean Plate Pictures, founded by photographer Erica “Becks” Beckman, who is also co-founder of The Wedding Foundry. Your wedding will be photographed by Becks or one of Clean Plate Pictures’ experienced associate photographers, all of whom share the same candid, documentary approach focused on genuine emotion and natural moments throughout the day.
You’ll receive a collection of 40–75 teaser images soon after your wedding, followed by your full gallery of fully edited, high-resolution photos within 8–12 weeks, ready to download, share, and print.
Can we use a different officiant?
If you prefer to use your own officiant, that’s fine. Please let us know at booking.
Can we add more guests?
Of course! You can extend your guest list by up to 15 additional guests, with an added cost per person.
Can we extend our time?
Yes, if your wedding is the last event of the evening, you have the option to extend your celebration for an additional hour
Is there a place to get ready?
Yes! We have a private changing room available for the couple for 30 minutes before your scheduled start time. It’s a small space designed for getting dressed and making those final finishing touches rather than a traditional getting-ready suite, so we recommend arriving with hair and makeup complete.
What happens if it rains?
Should it rain, we've got it covered with our barn, ensuring your event proceeds smoothly. The barn offers a cozy, rustic feel without letting the rain disrupt your plans. The barn is fully equipped to meet your event needs, ensuring comfort and continuity regardless of the weather.
Are other weddings happening at the same time?
There might be other weddings on the same day, but we've arranged our micro weddings so there is minimal overlap, if any.
What dates do you have available?
Once you've reviewed this guide, please get back in touch with your month, day and time preferences and we’ll know what we still have available. Our weddings are from May until mid-October.
Are there any additional fees?
We believe in keeping our pricing simple and transparent. There are no additional processing or administration fees. A 10% gratuity is added and paid directly to our hardworking staff. Couples are also required to select one of our music options or hire an approved live acoustic musician.
